Further price promotions saw FIFA 13 climb one spot to No.2, ahead of last week's best-seller, Metro Last Light.
Former No.1 Dead Island: Riptide slipped two positions to No.4, while 3DS exclusive Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D was the week's second-highest new entry at No.5.
The only other new release to make the top 40 was Activision's movie tie-in Fast & Furious: Showdown, which debuted at No.14.
